You know what a country's favourite game is when...
... university libraries close early so that both staff and students alike can go home and watch the game.
... students mugging hard in the library all get up and start leaving by the time the clock strikes 7 so that they can get to the nearest pub in time for the kickoff at 7.45pm.
... you see men hang their heads in disappointment and shame on the bus home after their team has lost the game.
After 3 years of being in this country, it still never fails to amaze me how the love for football runs in the blood of so many British people. I had to walk into town to get the bus home after the game (was at a friend's place to watch it), and boy was it kinda daunting. There was literally a FLOOD of people in Liverpool red, many of whom were singing at the top of their lungs "you'll never walk alone~" and "ste gerrad gerrad~" (to the tune of que sera sera)... It was fun, yet kinda scary... I don't know how I can describe it. It's like, you totally feel UNITED with these people cos you support the Reds and are disappointed too... yet you feel so FREAKED OUT that these drunk people are gonna get mad and get into a fight because we lost.
Sucks that we lost. I was really hoping to see the champion's league cup paraded around town on the bus tour. Sigh~ if only Stevie G's team had managed to get it back...
p.s. The flippin' 2nd goal by AC Milan was INFURIATING! :(
Right, enough of football and being pumped up by all the adrenaline. Time to get back to studying. Wish me all the best! I guess it's good we lost after all, at least there won't be cars honking away through the night like it did when we won the Champion's league 2 years ago. CONCENTRATE ON WORK!

Surprise!!!!
Yo!!!
haha this is the first time i'm ever blogging here~~ so all of u better read the contents carefully (but actually, there's not much content for this post la), dun even noe when i'll blog again haha. Anyway, the purpose of blogging today is because i am quite excited about my homestay in France and decided to post the pics of my host online.
Anyway here goes, i dunno whats their name, but all i noe is my host has got 4 kids, from 19 -2 7, and i think the ger is blue is quite pretty~ wee~ haha (later sy pull my ear if she see this) haha
One more pic here, nice house and nice swimming pool!
